A good rule of thumb to go by is that in order to drive a decent, semi reliable E46 you need to be comfortable investing $10000 total.

I have the Peake, was suckered into thinking it was the end all BMW tool. With the BavSound speaker upgrade, Hertz amp powering the cabin and a ski pass sub, the sound quality and control are what I consider to be outstanding. Good afternoon, recently I bought a low mileage 2004 BMW 330Ci convertible with automatic transmission. Unfortunately my 2001 330Ci with 6 speed manual tranny was totaled a while back. After I bought this 2004 E46 automatic, I realized that this car has a 5 speed automatic tranny from GM in it.
